After much discussion as to whether this would work on our site, we have decided to go ahead with it. The idea for our own pet page came about, when much to my dismay, my favorite pet photo site disappeared. Not that I had much time to peruse the site, but occasionally I would check in and look at several of the adorable cat and dog photos. I even submitted some of my own pet photos and was delighted to see that they had been posted.
This page is dedicated to our furry friends whom we would be lost without. Anyone is welcome to submit a photo, or several of their beloved pets. Please send an e-mail to email@example.com. Please be sure to include the pet's name and age along with your name and store name (if you have a store).
In the meantime, while we are waiting for all of your submissions, I will just have to fill this up with some of my favorite photos, of our darling babies, Mozart and Gandhi whom are both 11 years old and Zeppelin "The Dog" whom is 5 years old. To give you a brief history of our motley crew, all 3 came from animal shelters. Mozart is a "FAT CAT" weighing in at 20 pounds. He is actually my inspiration for our famous "Belly Bears". Mozart is the original. Gandhi is also a big cat, however he weighs in at about 12 pounds due to his hyperthyroidism. Zeppelin is epileptic and we went through one horrendous year trying to get his seizures under control. I am happy to say that he has been seizure free for 1 year and 5 months. He weighs in at 70 pounds. At one time during his "unhealthy" year he weighed 90 pounds, but thanks to the help of our kennel, he is back down to his normal weight.
Of the 3 Mozart is the most photogenic. He will pose, look straight at the camera and not move, where as Gandhi always closes his eyes and moves just as the flash goes off. Zeppelin is not very good at posing either. When he does, it is difficult to see his eyes because he is black. Anyway, I do hope you enjoy these photos and will send some of your own in. I am just as excited about this page as I am our new product. Enjoy!
